Hello, my name is Bart van Veen. Kernkracht.org was developed as a result of my growing interest in nutrition and other health related topics.
Around the year 2000 I got a burn-out/ depression. In 2003 I exited the Disablement Insurance Act and was able to stand on my own two feet again. Why am I telling these private details about myself? Because I find it important that people who find themselves in similar circumstances are able to recognize themselves in my story and be able to improve their health just as I have mine.
I've gained quite some knowledge over the years that I was in the Disablement Insurance Act, particularly in the field of nutrition. Thanks to the fact that I changed my dietary habits, I can say I'm feeling better, fitter and brighter all along. Complementary improvements were realized through other "alternative" self-healing forms like meditation and visualization...
Being so enthusiastic about my improvements and insight, that many other people will undoubtedly benefit by similar lifestyle changes, I decided it was necessary to share this information with more people than just myself. Thus came into life Kernkracht.org ...After all, everything I'd learned through the years isn't solely my knowledge, but it's your's as well!
Nutrition can either break you or make you!
Some people will find the theories and ideas presented on this website new, conflicting or even simply ridiculous. Great! If I would have to show consideration for all people that are opposed to what I believe and promote, developing this website would probably not have been such a good idea. But I won't! Science will never evolve if we keep doing what we've always been doing. Experimental research and fieldwork are indispensable for discovering new insights - in any sphere !! That's why the illogical solutions don't always seem what they are. "There's more than meets the eye"! After all, these new ideas do not resonate the current ideas we're holding, and thus cause a dissonance with these current ideas and beliefs...It's far safer to stick to our old thought than to explore new horizons, isn't it...?
If you really want to learn something from these new possibilities that you're offered concerning nutrition and other topics, you'd better have a healthy dosis of open mindedness. But please stay critical. Just believing everything that's stated on this - or ANY- website, without checking it's sources, could end up hazardously for you. Duplicating knowlegde is already a very commonly seen thing in this world, so please...dont ! I'd rather have you be very critical towards the given information, than you take everything for granted. The good thing about Kernkracht.org is that all vital information presented is substantiated by scientifically documented research, making everything you read here verifiable by yourself...

As a result of my findings, my diet is somewhat shaped as follows:
a well thought-out balanced high fat low carb diet
preferably vegetarian (NOTE: NOT vegan!!) or rather fish than meat anyway
preferably organic
preferably raw (veggies and eggs) or semi-raw
Stevia as my 100% natural sweetener
...with a lot of fun!!!
By switching from my old eating habits, rich in bread, sugar, potatoes, rice and other carbohydrate rich products as pastas and macaroni, to my current diet habits, I established the following health improvements:
the enduring absence of having to write down every single thought or fear that I encountered
more relieve, physically, as well as mentally
relieve from an over-sensitive skin
being able to wake up completely rested at 9:30 AM rather than at 13:30 PM, which I did very often: no more "weary body"
no more compelling cravings for starch or sugar rich foods
...lots and lots more energy!!
Currently I'm following Nutrition and Dietetics courses full-time at the Amsterdam School for Higher Vocational Education at the Academy for Physical Education (Dutch: ALO: Academie voor Lichamelijke Opvoeding), and I'm in 3rd out of 4 grades now.
The Disability Insurance Act or burn-out/ depression are way out of sight. I feel structurally fit and fine and I have lots of energy to do my daily tasks.
